Common questions

Simultaneous, consecutive, or whisper — which do I need?
Simultaneous is best for keynotes and large sessions where the program can't pause. Consecutive suits smaller Q&A-style segments. Whisper interpreting works for a handful of VIP attendees moving through bilaterals or facility tours. We'll recommend a mix based on your agenda.
What equipment do you bring, and is it ours to rent elsewhere?
Full-size and tabletop soundproof booths, Williams Sound wireless transmitters, and receiver headsets for every attendee — all Bilingva-owned, so there's no third-party rental markup or separate vendor to coordinate with your AV team.
How far in advance should we book for a large conference?
For multi-language, multi-day events (like Guidewire Connections or a championship-scale event) we recommend 6-8 weeks out to secure the right interpreter pairs and equipment. Smaller single-language sessions can often be arranged in 1-2 weeks.
Do you handle on-site technical support, or just the interpreters?
Both. Bilingva technicians handle setup, live monitoring, and strike-down, with backup transmitters and headsets on standby — one contract, one point of contact for interpreting and AV.
